Suzan-Lori Parks — A Play a Day Keeps the TV Away

April 18, 2007 Leave a Comment

Bill Marx speaks with award-winning American playwright Suzan-Lori Parks. Also, dancing away at the video arcade.

Download Part I and Part II of this interview with Suzan-Lori Parks.

I had a wide-ranging conversation with Pulitzer prize-winning dramatist Suzan-Lori Parks when she visited MIT recently. We gabbed about everything from her ambitious, “365 Days/365 Plays” Project (each day, a play by Parks is performed by theater companies around the country) to the future of the American stage. Also, make sure to click here for a review by critic Jared Craig of the printed version of her year’s worth of plays.
