Sigur Rós
Languid sameness dominated the Wang concert at times, though the acoustic strings and subtly submerged horns and percussion made the sonic scope of Sigur Rós’ music more delicate and human.
In terms of composition, the songs on “Kveikur” are structured more straightforwardly than those on “Valtari,” but Sigur Rós remains determined to deny the listener the grand post-rock climaxes.
