Weekly Feature: Poetry at The Arts Fuse
Welcome to “Poetry at The Arts Fuse.” A new poem every Thursday
solitaire for voices
best of sheets to you,
hot sleeper
whisk me away
in voices,
hot solitaire
one of the things
about writing
things down is I think
I left something out
or words have been added
at the cost
of wordless thought
I’m never going to forget
feeling like this
no matter what you do
Through postcards, slaptags, voicemails and other ephemera, Buck Downs creates a body of work as expansive and intimate as life and death. Book projects include NICE NOSE (Buck Downs Dot Com) and Mystical Hobby of Christ: The Poetry of Chris Toll (lack mountain/ZDWP).
Note: Hey poets! We seek submissions of excellent poetry from across the length and breadth of contemporary poetics. See submission guidelines here. The arbiter of the feature is the magazine’s poetry editor, John Mulrooney.
