Feast and frolic while you meet others — critics and writers, noted artists and enthusiasts — who care about arts and culture at the 2nd annual Fusical Awards. At the same time you will help sustain the arts coverage featured on Boston’s premiere online arts magazine — independent and interactive. This year’s awardees include Richard Pittman and the New England Philharmonic, jazz musician, broadcaster, and bandleader/organizer Charlie Kohlhase, Cambridge’s Wakefield Press,, the Independent Film Festival Boston, IBA — Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción, Trevor Smith, curator of the Present Tense at Peabody Essex Museum, and the Charlestown Working Theater. The latter will be the recipient of the outstanding contributions to theater award, which will be re-named in the honor of the late actor Tommy Derrah.

Along with the awards, there will be an online auction and live musical entertainment:

DJ Flack

The Gere Sedgwick Duo

Ryan Lee Crosby and his Quintet

Parking in Union Sq Somerville can be difficult. Guests are encouraged to take Uber, Lyft or Taxi to Union Square restaurants Bronwyn’s or The Independent and walk up the alley to Sanborn Court.

Nearby Citizens bank has 55 spaces. People park there in the evenings and take short cut through Stone Park to Warehouse XI. Union Square Plaza has metered parking until 8 p.m.

Looking forward to seeing you there.
