Arts Fuse Author: ‘Who Knows One’

By Bill Marx

who-knows-one-1Critic Debra Cash’s excellent writings on dance can be found on The Arts Fuse. She has new book of poetry out, timed perfectly for the upcoming Jewish holiday. The lyrics in the volume Who Knows One are “based on stories, language, and associations connected to the Passover Haggadah.”

Those who have admired Debra’s detailed descriptions of dancers and her critical acuity will not be surprised by her delicate explorations of the language of belief.

According to best-selling author Anita Diamant “the poems do what art is supposed to do: give us a new way to see. Her insights are sometimes provocative, sometimes wistful, sometimes even angry, but they are also always wise.”

Those interested in ordering the book online won’t find it on Amazon—they have to go here.

Thank you for highlighting this new book of poetry. I’m running a series of posts for National Poetry Month. If I can get a copy of this in time, I’ll try to include it in April. And I’ll definitely look up Cash’s writings on dance on The Arts Fuse.
